The monthly mission for White Clouds, Chapter 5 is The Gautier Inheritance. Note: the following data is for Maddening mode, Normal/Hard mode may differ.

Reinforcements

  • Before turn 2 enemy phase, 2 Mages and 2 Thieves spawn to the left of the starting position (Maddening only).
  • Before turn 6 enemy phase, 2 Mages and 2 Thieves spawn to the left of the starting position (Hard/Maddening only).
  • After the player passes the top broken pillar, for two turns: 2 Thieves spawn in the top right, and can move immediately. The second set of Thieves will spawn the enemy phase after the first set are defeated.

Notes

  • Gilbert is the NPC, and he starts near your units. He's pretty strong, but can be annoying. On maddening, the first wave of reinforcements will make short work of him (Mages). If you wish to save him, leave some units nearby. Otherwise, there is no punishment for letting him get defeated.
  • An Archer with Bowrange +1 can pick off some enemies from beyond the wall.
  • All enemies start advancing towards you in a way that they end up cluttered and grouped by the time they reach you. Be sure to save a lot of AOE gambits to easily deal with them.
  • Almost all enemies will start advancing towards you if you aggro the Archers near the wall. Gilbert tends to do this mindlessly, so it's advisable to kill him off on the starting reinforcements.
  • The Fortress Knight in the top left can be defeated by a few magic users.
  • Once Miklan is defeated, a demonic beast will spawn in the center. All allied units are then moved to the entrance to the center. Battalions, health, and spell uses will not be replenished. Divine pulse will be restored to full uses.
  • If any other enemies are still on the map when Miklan transforms, they will remain wherever they were at the time of transformation. Their HP will not be restored.
